Rwamatamu Coffee seeks new buyers in London
At the International Food & Drink Event in London, Rwamatamu Coffee Ltd presented its green coffee and introduced buyers to a specialty coffee business rooted in Rwanda’s growing export story.
From Rwanda to the trade floor
Rwamatamu Coffee produces, processes and supplies specialty coffee from Rwanda. The company works with local farmers and focuses on quality and traceability from farm to cup. Its profile highlights both natural and fully washed coffees, shaped by Rwanda’s terroir.
In London, the company showcased green coffee. It also pointed to its sourcing base through Demers cooperative, women and youth associations. That detail matters. It links export activity to local participation and community livelihoods.
Quality and sustainability
Rwamatamu Coffee lists Rainforest Alliance and EUDR among its quality and compliance references. The company also says it uses climate-smart practices such as shade trees and more sustainable cropping processes to help conserve the environment.
The submitted response leaves several trade details open, including exact target markets, minimum order quantity and lead times. Even so, the company’s London presence puts its coffee in front of international buyers and keeps Rwanda visible in trade conversations that can lead to future partnerships.
