Kigali retains the 2nd position in Africa in the ICCA rankings

For the second year in a row, Kigali retains the second place as the favorite city in Africa in the ranking of the International Congress and Convention Association according to the 2019 annual report released on May 12, 2020. The same report shows that Rwanda is in third place in the list of popular congress countries on the African continent, leaving only South Africa and Morocco ahead.

Tourism is the country’s largest source of income and the MICE sector contributes an important part to this. In 2019 this was $ 65 million.
