Rwanda Space Agency operational in July 2020
The Rwanda Space Agency (RSA) will conduct scientific research and coordinate capacity building programs in space science and technology, as well as design, build and launch satellites.
Last year, a team of Rwandan engineers trained at the University of Tokyo teamed up with their Japanese counterparts to launch the RWASAT-1 mini-satellite, also known as CubeSats. So far, at least 80 Rwandans have been trained in various aerospace technologies.
