Arsenal star footballers immerse themselves in Made-in-Rwanda outfits
Arsenal players Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Hector Bellerin and Reiss Nelson had taken on the challenge of being completely styled in Made-in-Rwanda designs. The famous footballers were challenged by local fashion designers from Rwanda to create their own looks and make their own choices from a range of locally designed and produced clothing & accessories.
The initiative was part of the collaboration between Visit Rwanda and Arsenal. In 2018, Visit Rwanda became Arsenal’s first tourist partner for at least 3 years, with the aim of promoting the African country as a beautiful travel destination, but also to attract foreign investors.
According to Visit Rwanda, the initiative was also organized to put young creatives from the Rwandan fashion sector on the map such as Haute Baso, House of Tayo, Inzuki Designs, K’tsobe, Moshions, Rwanda Clothing and Uzi Collections.
