New app Liberation Trail

The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) has launched a new app that allows users to follow the progress of the liberation struggle. The launch took place on July 4, the day that the population celebrated national liberation for the 26th time.

The Liberation Trail follows the route of Rwanda’s liberation by the Rwanda Patriotic Army from October 1990 to July 4, 1994 and passes by no fewer than 44 liberation sites.

With this new app, RDB is responding to the increasing demand in the field of culture and heritage, as well as the growing interest in Rwanda, the liberation story and the transformation after the genocide.

The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
