COOPAC showcases traceable Rwandan specialty coffee at SIA Paris
At the Paris International Agricultural Show, coffee is not just a drink. It is a set of decisions about origin, processing, traceability and how reliably a supplier can deliver. COOPAC Ltd, a family-owned Rwandan coffee company established in 2001, is taking that conversation to buyers at SIA Paris, where it is exhibiting until 1 March.
COOPAC specialises in specialty Arabica coffee scoring 85+ and is certified Fairtrade and Organic. At the show, the company is presenting both roasted and green coffee. For roasted coffee, it is featuring its brands Gold Kivu and Iriza Coffee, made from fully washed Arabica and offered in 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg formats suitable for retail and foodservice. For green coffee, COOPAC is offering specialty Arabica in bulk jute bags, available in fully washed and natural processes, with quality grading and export-ready specifications for roasters.
COOPAC already exports to Belgium, the USA, Canada, Australia, Poland, Sweden, Finland and China. In 2026, it is actively targeting France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, China and South Korea, while also exploring opportunities in Germany, the UK, the Nordics, Japan and the Middle East (UAE).
Behind the product range is a system built for consistency. COOPAC manages quality through its own washing stations, starting with strict cherry selection then controlled fermentation, careful drying and lot separation. The company says it runs quality checks at multiple stages, including parchment evaluation, green grading and cupping, to maintain traceability from source through to final bagging and shipment.
“Our current production capacity is approximately 244,500 kg of green coffee,” said Managing Director Clarisse Nzungize Iribagiza. COOPAC adds it can scale up to around 384,000 kg within 12–24 months, depending on demand and harvest conditions.
With flexible order sizes from microlots to full container loads, COOPAC is aiming to turn SIA meetings into long-term collaborations with importers, distributors and roasters.
