Kigali to host 2025 African Cycling Excellence Awards
The Confederation of African Cycling (CAC) has selected Kigali to host the 2025 African Cycling Excellence Awards (ACEA), set for November 28–29. This announcement follows the city’s landmark achievement as the first African host of the UCI Road World Championships earlier this year. Kigali is also slated to host the 2026 edition before the event begins rotating among other African nations.
The ACEA celebrates the continent’s top cycling achievements, bringing together athletes, officials, and industry leaders to honor outstanding performances by both male and female cyclists in professional and amateur categories.
